Artist in Residence Development

I researched the benefits of artist residencies for my Master’s degree in Gallery Management capstone project while simultaneously starting a residency at the National Western Stock Show in 2018. I can advise on what you or your organization need to think about when developing residency programs in order to make it a beneficial experience for the artist, the audience, and you.

Get a thorough look at your collection with a complete digitization, where each object is cataloged and photographed, and then you can send the resulting list to your insurance company. I can also recommend an appraiser for accredited, professional valuation.
Curator
Do you need a curator for a specialized art exhibit, pop-up show, fundraiser, event, office space, corporate or private collection? Art connoisseurship is a learned skill that I’ve been practicing for over 20 years. I’m especially interested in curating regional Western art exhibits, local artists, emerging artists, photography exhibits, fundraisers, corporate and private collections, and exhibits geared toward younger generations. Well-practiced in the art and craft of curating shows and collections, I can select artists, install artwork, and write didactics.
Artist Advising
Are you an artist who just doesn’t know how to get into group exhibits and galleries? Do you want advise on pricing, shipping, tracking and organizing artworks? I can advise artists on how to get into shows, how to get organized and digitized, and what they should and should not do to impress curators and gallery owners.
